MP3 players
In the last
year we have seen many new self-contained MP3 players hit the
market. These are devices that can store and play back MP3
files.

Memory players |
MP3s
are stored on devices with 64MB to 256MB of RAM
memory. Typically they can store from 1/2 hour to 2
hours of MP3 files. These are a pain to use as you
constantly have to hook them up to your computer and
download your latest tunes. |

Hard Drive players |
You
can store a lot more MP3s on these devices. An example
is Creative Nomad Jukebox. Since these have moving
parts, they are more expensive and prone to problems.
Also, you still have to download all your songs. |

CD Players |
MP3
CD Players play MP3s on a CD. The cool thing is that
you can have, for example, 10 MP3 CDs and it could
contain literally 100 hours of audio and music! A good
