How do I
put MP3s to an audio CD?
Burn
them! To actually
get the MP3s onto a CD, you'll need to have a CDRW drive or
CD-recorder drive. These are enhanced CD-ROM drives that can
actually burn CDs with a laser beam. The drives use blank CD-R and CD-RW
discs. Click here
for more help on buying a CD recorder drive.
After you
have the CD recorder hardware, you'll find that it ships with some
all-purpose CD-R burning software called Easy CD Creator. Due
to the many options and parameters given to the user, many people
find it difficult to create an audio CD that plays in a standard
audio player. Also, many of the bundled programs do not
burn directly from an MP3 file. They require a WAV file.
If you decide to just convert MP3s to WAVs and use your bundled CD
Burner software, check out this easy
to use MP3 To Wave Converter.
Get
the right software to get the job done! If you don't
want to convert MP3s to WAV files, you'll want a program that can
burn audio cds directly from MP3 files! There are some
software programs that make it very easy to put together a custom
compilation CD. Here are a few : MP3
CD Maker ($29.95) , Tunespark
($29.95) and our own easy to use MP3 CD Burner software
($29.95).
Once you
have the software, you need to follow the instructions in the
software to add your MP3s to the MP3 CD Burning software. Here
is a walkthrough of our MP3 CD Burner software.
